Army Spc. Benyahmin B. Yahudah, 24, of Bogart, Ga.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; killed July 13 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol in Baghdad.
Army Sgt. Michael E. Yashinski, 24, of Monument, Colo.; assigned to the 501st Forward Support Company, 173rd Airborne Brigade, based in Vicenza, Italy; killed Dec. 24 while running a communication wire in Kirkuk, Iraq.
Army Sgt. Henry Ybarra III, 32, of Austin, Texas; assigned to D Troop, 6th Squadron, 6th Cavalry, Illesheim, Germany; died Sept. 11 in Balad, Iraq, when the tire he was changing on a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck exploded.
Army Pvt. Justin R. Yoemans, 20, of Eufaula, Ala.; assigned to the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery, Fort Hood, Texas; died Nov. 6 at the 31st Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad from wounds sustained earlier that day when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his up-armored Humvee in Baghdad.
Army Spc. Viktar V. Yolkin, 24, of Spring Branch, Texas; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany; killed Jan. 24 when his Bradley fighting vehicle overturned in Mohammed Sacran, Iraq. Four other soldiers were also killed.
Marine Pfc. Rodricka A. Youmans, 22, of Allendale, S.C.; assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed July 6 by enemy action in Anbar province, Iraq.
Army Sgt. Ryan C. Young, 21, of Corona, Calif.; assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Fort Riley, Kan.; died Dec. 2 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., of wounds he sustained Nov. 8, 2003, when an improvised explosive device hit his vehicle in Fallujah, Iraq.
Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Travis L. Youngblood, 26, of Surrency, Ga.; assigned to Naval Hospital Great Lakes, Great Lakes, Ill.; deployed with II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward); died July 21 of wounds sustained July 15 from an improvised explosive device during combat operations in Hit, Iraq.
