Army Staff Sgt. Darrell P. Clay
34, of Fayetteville, N.C.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; killed April 1 when an improvised explosive device detonated while he was conducting a dismounted patrol in Baghdad. Also killed was Sgt. Israel Devora Garcia.
