Airman 1st Class Steven Weston is an aerial porter with the 621st Air Mobility Squadron based at McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., who has deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom. He’s originally from Butler, Pa.

Dear Mom and Dad,

How have you been? I’m doing good here. I’ve been pretty busy supporting Enduring Freedom. A lot of long days and nights. The troops I’m with are great. We are all like family out here. We keep each other company by playing cards or talking. It makes the time go by. Don’t know how long I’ll be here, but hopefully I can come home soon. Tell Sammy and Steph I said hi.

Love,
Steven
