Dear Johana, Melanie, Carla and Mom,

I love you and miss you very much. I am here in Afghanistan, fighting terrorism and serving my country with pride and honor. I really appreciate and thank you for the sacrifices you have made. I promise to be back home as soon as possible.

Melanie and Carla, keep up the good work and help Mommy by being nice to her. Johana, I am very proud of you and the girls. Thank you! Mom, thanks for being the best mother in the world. I think of you always and can’t wait to be back home. Hugs and kisses from Afghanistan.

Love,
